Fairhaven Inc
Fairhaven is a retirement community on the Carroll County side of Sykesville that has a 79-bed nursing home. We are nursing home lawyers who tend to bash a lot of nursing homes in the area because they are absolutely awful. But this not-for-profit, full service senior living community has a pretty nice nursing home. It is not perfect, but it is clearly one of the better nursing homes in the area as you will see from the Medicare ratings below. Fairhaven may use a little more medications that some other nursing homes but they are doing a great job on three things that often lead to nursing home lawsuits: bed sores, falls, and UTIs.
Speaking of lawsuits, we could not find any nursing home lawsuits for negligence or abuse against this nursing home.
This nursing home was picked as one of the best nursing homes in 2016.
